Effective April 2, 2018, the U.S. Department of State is increasing the passport execution fee from $25 to $35. The $10 execution fee increase only applies to U.S. passport applicants using the DS-11 form, such as first-time applicants over 16, children under 16, and applicants who re-apply after reporting their previous passport lost or stolen.
The $10 fee increase does not apply to adults eligible to renew their passports by mail using the DS-82 form. Renewal customers can mail their application and supporting documentation directly to the Department of State.

Inaugural Valentine's Day Marriage Ceremony was a success! Love was in the air on February 14, 2018 as 55 couples were married in a ceremony by Clerk of Courts Brenda D. Forman. The event consisted of a single ceremony that united all couples in attendance, including couples renewing their vows.
After the ceremony, couples and their guests celebrated with cake and refreshments and also received a special Certificate of Marriage commemorating the special day.
Sheriff Scott Israel, Chief Judge Jack Tuter and Clerk of Courts Brenda Forman renew their warnings of an ongoing jury duty scam that has been reported in South Florida. The scam involves threats of fines and even jail time.
The U.S. Marshals also warned of a nationwide scam, saying that citizens in South Florida are among those who are being targeted.
